Research

Conducting research can be an important aspect in teachers' professional lives. Research provides a means for educators to learn about themselves, their students, and findings of their peers.

The Dr Hasan Murad School of Management (HSM) is undertaking a series of initiatives to enhance the integration of research and teaching at UMT. HSM faculty members engage in active addresses complex research questions by:

  • Leading to the creation of knowledge and ideas that vastly advance the practice of general management and prepare students to be thoughtful and effective leaders.
  • Judgment, based on sound analysis rooted in facts, is what our students need to absorb from their education and that can be found at the core of research based teaching and learning. If teachers are active researchers they shall transform their students into future researchers and the process would continue to produce smart generations.
