PROFILE DESCRIPTION

Umer Ayub is an Assistant Professor in School of Business & Economics. He is associated with the School for last nine years. Overall he has sixteen years of teaching experience at recognized universities. He is currently pursuing his PhD in management sciences. Earlier he did his MS in management and MBA. His research interests include areas related to Decision Sciences, Social Sciences Research Methods, Knowledge Management, International Business and Organizational Strategy. He has authored various research papers in the field of Intellectual Capital Management, Organization Theory and Globalization and the Firms. He has presented several research papers in National and International Conferences. He presented his research work in Pakistan, Malaysia, and Indonesia. He was one of the six faculty members from Pakistan who went to National University Singapore (NUS) in June 2014 to attend an extensive training program aimed to build and enhance research scholars’ capabilities and skills required to perform research at advance level. He has also been selected as a part of second wave of UMT faculty to participate in the Collaboration for Faculty Excellence in Teaching and Research (CFETR) at George Mason University US in September 2016. Umer Ayub is a member of the Academy of Management (USA), which is regarded as the most esteemed association of management scientists and academicians in the scholarly world. Currently he is an active member of its two divisions, namely, Managerial and Organizational Cognition Division and Research Methods Division.
