HSM Professor Abdul Rafay, Muhammad Mobeen Ajmal (SWUFE, China) and Muhammad Moeen Ajmal (Zong Pakistan) got the best case study award in LUMS flagship AMRC conference 2018 held in PC Bhurban on March 23-24, 2018.
The title of the case study was "Managing International Communication: JI Trading Co.” It was about managing communication with Chinese keeping in view the emerging scenario of Pakistan. The case was presented and assessed during round table discussion format. This session was a 90-minute session that included a rich discussion to help the case writer strengthen his case. It encouraged the author(s) to be aware of how their case would play out in a class and pre-empt difficult live situations. Each panelist was expected to read and critique the case and teaching notes.
The case was declared best case by panelists that include experienced case writers from LUMS, Indian Institute of Management, University of Wollongong and Universiti Sans Malaysia. The best case award was sponsored by SAGE, one of the most reputable global publisher.
