VISION
To bridge the gap between the academic industry and the practical field by promoting self-learning through platforms of opportunity to prepare UMT students to discover and polish their core skills for their victorious entry into the market.
MISSION
It is the mission of the QUANT Club, to promote interest and awareness of Statistics and its Applications among Students, faculty and staff within the University of Management and Technology (UMT) community through the use of Seminars/lectures, Invite Guest Speakers, Industrial/Study Visits, Internationalization, Motivational Talks, Exhibitions, Trainings and other events.
Membership
- Membership of the QUANT Club shall be open to all students who have registered as student under the Department of Quantitative Methods/Dr Hasan Murad School of Management, University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore main Campus.
- No person will be denied membership based on race, sex, age, color, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or physical/mental handicaps.
- Active members shall be defined as those students who attend a minimum of three (3) meetings per semester.
- For membership, the student has to send request to the club advisor and/or President of club. Only applications will be entertain those coming through proper channel.
