Admission Criteria

Admission to MS Business Analytics requires a four-year undergraduate (bachelors, B.Sc.) degree in management, engineering, technology, or any other technical/professional degree such as B.Sc. Pharmacy, B.Sc. computer science or a Masters degree in sciences, such as, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, etc.  It is assumed that the applicant has studied mathematics and statistics at undergraduate level.  Anyone who has not studied mathematics or statistics will have to take additional course(s) in area of Quantitative methods in his/her first semester.  Applicants without knowledge in business studies areas like marketing, finance, operations and organizational behavior will be required to take remedial courses in the respective areas.

Note: For admission purposes, a Masters degree with a two-year undergraduate degree is considered equivalent to a four-year undergraduate degree.

Eligibility criteria for admission in MS-Business Analytics:

  • Sixteen years of education and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 out of 4 in BBA/MBA or equivalent.
  • Clearance of GAT with minimum 50% score. Result of GAT can be provided within 6 months of after getting admission.
  • All Academic credentials must be attached with the admission form and interview Panel (PhD Committee members) will give the final decision regarding admission in MS-BA.

Courses:      8 Courses each 3 Credit Hours (5 compulsory + 3 Electives) & 1 Research Dissertation/Thesis 6                           Credit Hour  

Total Credit Hours:  30
