SBE Open House 2016

The School of Business and Economics (SBE) held an OPEN HOUSE event at Pearl Continental Hotel on Sunday 21st of August, 2016. The purpose of the event was to provide information about all of the programs of the School of Business and Economics (SBE)-UMT, Lahore. A large number of students ranging from Undergraduate to PhD programs attended the Open House.

The program started with the presentation by experts in each field who shed light on Undergraduate and Graduate programs offered by SBE-UMT. Internationally acclaimed educationists shared the significance of the programs being offered at SBE. SBE faculty members were present to counsel all students and responded to all queries regarding their programs. Potential students were able to obtain interviews immediately at the Open House. Informative booths were arranged to provide students onsite information regarding each program being offered at SBE.

Dean SBE, Prof. Bob Wheeler had an interactive session with the audience, where he talked about the significance of the SBE programs. He emphasized the importance of business studies in relation to CPEC and how SBE is developing the future leaders of Pakistan business.  As a result of CPEC, Supply Chain Management will be in great demand and SBE has the best Supply Chain Management Department in Pakistan.  

SBE will also provide the future leaders and managers in the fields of Finance, Management, Marketing and Information Systems, to name a few, to meet the Pakistani demands that will grow out of the success of the CPEC project. He also talked about future impact of business studies in emerging economy of Pakistan.

"Pakistan has a bright future when its energy problems are solved, and CPEC will go a long way to helping solve that problem.  SBE is developing the future business leaders of Pakistan and will help meet the demand for leaders and managers in all areas," said Prof. Bob Wheeler.
