ERP Training at IKL Dubai

The Centre for Enterprise Technology Advancement (CETA) arranged ERP trainings for SBE-UMT participants at the Institute of Knowledge and Learning (IKL), Dubai. The training was held from 22 July 2016 to 6 August 2016. This was the First Training offered from IKL platform which provided Microsoft ERP training to participants from SBE-UMT. The ERP Training at IKL was arranged to provide students with a chance to receive knowledge in an international environment with state-of-the-art technology. An international platform for a global exposure was provided to business students and future entrepreneurs.

Moreover, students had the unique opportunity of interning at Al-Futtaim Motors. Al-Futtaim ensures quality, utilizes cutting-edge technology and provides the best customer care. The participants interned for 5 days at Al-Futtaim, where they worked tirelessly to make the most out of this extraordinary opportunity. After completion of the 5 days internship program, each of the participants was awarded Certificates recognizing their efforts and their Internship completion. Before this, Al-Futtaim had never offered internship opportunities to students form academic institutions. Through this internship, SBE-UMT participants broaden their horizons. They crossed national boundaries and tapped into international markets and gained international exposure at a world-renown group.

Rector UMT, Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad, also visited IKL, Dubai and discussed the opportunities in information system with students. He appreciated students for their hard work and committed to provide them every possible opportunity to excel and achieve high in their careers.
