About ICoBM
International Conference on Business Management (ICoBM) is an initiative of Prof. Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad (L) taken in 2010. The philosophy of ICoBM is to provide a knowledge-sharing, interactive platform to the management researchers, thinkers, leaders and practitioners for cross-pollination of ideas. This conference adopted a pattern of bringing in the leaders and individuals from academia, industry, government, and social sector to exchange their reflective, experiential, or scientific views of management in the scope of contemporary themes and topics. ICoBM programs, therefore, comprised of two parallel tracks for researchers and industry experts. These tracks comprised of parallel sessions each chaired/moderated by the experts in the respective thematic area. Besides encouraging the individual participation, the ICoBM has also been promoting the institutional networking to increase the cooperation and collaboration among the faculty members and students to raise the merit of scholarship in the area of management research.
ICoBM is considered among the benchmark academic events in Pakistan since the organization of the first event of this series by HSM-UMT in 2011. Every year observed a raise in the level of quality and organized by HSM-UMT. Whereas, the next three events were organized by Sukkur-IBA, Sukkur; Institution of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi; and NUST Business School, Islamabad in close collaboration with HSM-UMT.
HSM-UMT has taken the position to organize the 7th ICoBM on December 9-10, 2020. This conference has been planned online (zoom.us). This conference will open avenues of networking among the researchers and thinkers from different universities, industry and government institutions from Pakistan and abroad. Therefore, the proposed conference will comprise of the following tracks:
- Research Presentations
- Panel Discussions (Experts from Industry, Government, and Academia)
The 7th International Conference on Business Management (ICoBM) will be a two days event comprising of 3-4 plenary and research sessions in the thematic area of each track.
