UMT inks MoU with SAP; becomes First Private sector University in Pakistan to get License for SAP ERP
SAP University Alliance is a global program with more than 2650 member institutions in over 90 countries that aims to shape the future of higher education. The program exposes students and faculty to the latest SAP technologies and enables Universities to integrate SAP software into their teaching by partnering to build technology skills.
University of Management and Technology (UMT) is the First University in Punjab (public and private sector, both) which has successfully got a University Alliance with SAP.
In addition to getting an institutional license of SAP ERP for server, UMT will get dedicated license workstations, and teaching and training manuals for faculty. Special portal has already been created for UMT. Specialized department based software for UMT Dr Hasan Murad School of Management is also available for use.
