The first seminar took place on 4th November, 2015. Guest Speaker Mr. Suleman Baloch (Head Cash & Carry Unilever Pakistan) was invited, who shared valuable insights on the topic “Retail Sales Prospects for FMCG Companies in Pakistan: A Talk on Channel Innovation & Development”.
Mr. Baloch was over whelmed with the enthusiasm of the students and told that he would definitely visit UMT for future seminars as well.
A healthy discussion concluded by question answer session touching upon the following aspects of retail:

- Usage of non-traditional channels
- Intro to Global retail market
