Conducting research can be an important aspect of teachers' professional lives. Research provides a means for educators to learn about themselves, their students, and the findings of their peers.
The Dr Hasan Murad School of Management (HSM) is undertaking a series of initiatives to enhance the integration of research and teaching at UMT. HSM faculty members engage in active addresses complex research questions by:
- Leading to the creation of knowledge and ideas that vastly advance the practice of general management and prepare students to be thoughtful and effective leaders.
- Judgment, based on sound analysis rooted in facts, is what our students need to absorb from their education and that can be found at the core of research-based teaching and learning. If teachers are active researchers they shall transform their students into future researchers and the process would continue to produce smart generations.
